CPVDen is a membership site created by two friends from PPC-Coach.com. Lucas and Sean know a lot about CPV marketing and they have some exciting news from their website.

New York, New York 08/16/2010 – CPVDen.com the contextual marketing training site run by Lucas Fambrough and Sean Cantkier has just announced the acquisition of CPVCoach.com. The announcement was first made during a webinar held by Will Haimerl, the creator and previous owner of CPVCoach. Haimerl made the announcement at the tail end of the webinar which primarily focused on a new tool released for his PPC-Coach.com membership. Haimerl is quoted as saying“Lucas and Sean have proven to me and the community that they’ll take the cpv training model to the next level. The sale will give me more time to focus on other projects, and I’m happy to be supporting two long time contributors to PPC-Coach.com”.

Although the exact terms of the deal will remain private, Fambrough says the plan is to merge the content, tools, but most importantly the member base from CPVCoach into CPVDen. Existing CPVCoach and PPC-Coach members will be given special discounts to join CPVDen and lifetime members will be grandfathered in. “We’re going to take care of everyone” said Fambrough. “Our aim is to be the most comprehensive CPV focused training site on the internet. This acquisition will take us out of beta stage and put us a step closer to achieving that goal”.

Terms of the acquisition have been finalized and work on merging the two sites has already begun. CPVDen.com plans to release the newly formatted site, complete with an additional 6000+ posts of CPV marketing content, on August 16,2010. Fambrough has not indicated if the price will remain the same or increase for new members following the merge date of August 16, 2010.

Internet University

Internet University has been around for a few months now. It’s started by a few affiliate marketers who run the blog Super Affiliate Twins. The Twins Ryan and Richard and another affiliate marketer and also a twin John all contribute and have a few various backgrounds in affiliate marketing. They are well known for media buying and a great free guide they gave away.

Overview:
The forum is set up with a few different categories. All the major ways of driving traffic are present, email, media buying, mobile marketing, search, incentivized marketing, social media, seo, and ppv. Within the modules contains videos to help with some visual reference. There are examples of each way to market and everything is covered in depth.

Help:
Within the forum there are plenty of affiliate marketers with various levels of experience that will pitch in and help. This comes in addition to the 3 professors that will always reply to any questions. The response time is very quick and the professors even over more assistance through private email for some more in depth guidance.

Case Studies:
There have been multiple case studies showing examples of campaigns, how to do things and creative ideas. They are great to help open up someones mind and get them on the right track. A new feature just launched is a competition module. Its a study with some specific details that need to be followed so everything is fair but the winner gets 2 free months of IU membership. I’m participating so come and join the fun.

Tools:
The membership for IU comes with a free shared hosting account. Another tool that comes with the membership is a lander split account. This tool helps to split test landing pages to find a winner. There is also some talk about other tools to help with internet marketing. A few of the members have shared their thoughts to help get the most out of them.

Summary:
The beauty of IU is that it’s a monthly subscription and you get all the help you want. There haven’t been many days when it takes longer than a few hours for a reply. Also, you get to see case studies and have access to a group of affiliate marketers who have had success and experience. Also, this forum isn’t just specific to one type of traffic or marketing. They cover all types of marketing with in depth help and don’t stop there.

Price
IU is a monthly subscription of $99/month. They do not have a 14-day trial but they do have a “Daily Trial” offer. For $5/day you can be a member of the forum and stop at any point. So if you just want to read through some things quick in a day go ahead. Here is a link to Internet University.

This review was written by another member of IU and not myself. Although, I am a member of IU
