E-mail list building is one of the oldest ways to generate revenue for your online affiliate marketing business. I have always been a little scared to start list building as you generally don’t see the fruits of your labor for a little while. If you try to make cash with affiliate marketing you know spending money is the only way to make money. With list building you are paying for clicks in hopes that these people will follow the directions of opting in to your newsletter or whatever you’re promoting.
Just the other day I launched my first squeeze page where the only thing I ask of the clicker is to give me their name and email address. I don’t want to give out too much information but basically I’m trying an easy incentive approach of asking them to complete offers in exchange for something. So far I have picked a reasonable hot niche and have gotten a quick 70 emails on my list in two days. It is hard to watch your list grow while another 70 do not continue to opt-in to your list.
My email autoresponder of choice, like many others, is Aweber. Their admin panel is just amazing. It is so easy to add messages, web forms and everything you need to get your business off the ground. I agree mailing list is a powerful tool of affiliate marketing. Something I’m yet to start myself. Congrats on achieving 70 in 2 days.

Aweber appears to have become the standard in the field of e-mail auto-responding. Spreading by using e-mail is wonderful since e-mail is a communication medium that does not interrupt those that aren’t already checking their e-mail. The image used here is quite appropriate and sends the right message.
