Golf Swing Analyzer

My previous post talked about my newest toy the Sony Video Camera. My camera, has become my golf swing analyzer. I went to the range the other day with my camera and tripod in hand, what I got was one lousy video because I found out it’s a two man job.
The Sony HDR-SR5 comes with a slow motion setting where it records in 240 frames per second. The normal recording rate is 60 frames. The one problem with this is sony decided to give us minimal time for recording in this setting. I understand they needed to put a limit on how long you can record. The problem is I wasn’t able to use the remote and swing quick enough to record myself.

As you watch the video you can see that I drop the remote. I tried the best I could to drop and swing but it made me hurry. I can’t wait to have time with a buddy so we can video our swings. I do hope Ms. Danielle reads this because she is also a golf fan.

Wouldn’t it be funny if you dropped the remote and when you swung you hit the remote? Well, wouldn’t really be funny, but would suck.
