Well, not quite but it’s close. I’m away from my home all five days to finally start earning my Master’s Degree in Math. Here is the catch, IT’S ALL FOR FREE. That’s right, for the next 3 years of my life I’ll be getting my MA in MAT for free. Basically, I’ll have my masters in math.
I have finished this week and it was a great class to be apart of. We had a very good professor from Vermont named K. Gross. He could make addition and multiplication seem like they were calculus. The issue wasn’t that it was as hard as calculus, but he could make you look at addition in such a way that it wasn’t the normal way you think about addition.
We received homework everyday that took us about 3 hours to finish. We got a 14 question take home final that a few of us worked on for five hours one night until 1:30am. We couldn’t figure out if it was the fact that we’re adults now and want to do A+ work all the time or if the problems were just plain fun to figure out. I believe it was a combination of both. The questions were really satisfying when you ended up getting the right answer because it was a group effort.
