The Red Sox are the 2007 World Series Champions

I was very excited about this season and how the Sox started out. Blowing by the Yankees in the first half of the season was something that Red Sox fans have been waiting for. I was very excited but knew the yankees had better players than what their record was showing.

The second half of the season was kind of ho-hum and then the yanks started to get hot. They were the hottest team in baseball the 2nd half and caught up to the Red Sox during the last month. The sox were cool and calm and finished tied with the best record in baseball.

I watched every game in the playoffs and boy was it gut wrenching. First they blew by the Angels in 3 games, very easy. The ALCS vs. the Indians was horrible to watch. Being down 3 games to 1 the Red Sox, again very calm, came back and won 3 in a row to beat the Indians for a trip to the World Series.

With the World Series set to play against the Colorado Rockies, I figured it’d be a quick and simple one. The first game was a blow out, 13-1 WOW. Second game was not so fun for me but they pulled it out 2-1. I was nervous the first game in Colorado with the whole DH issue but the Sox prevailed. Game 4 was again very very close and in the end the Sox were victorious for their 2nd Championship in four years.

It could be a Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics year!

Great to see the Red Sox take another title! Let’s hope they keep things in tact for next season and start building a dynasty greater than the Yankees!
