Sweet Scooter

My cousin-in-law (I guess that’s what you call her) bought a scooter to ride to the bus stop everyday for class. Earlier this year we visited and it was a blast to ride, I just had to get one. After I was sent the wrong one and had to wait another 3 more weeks I finally received my Scooter the other day.

These things are so much fun to ride. I bought a 50cc engine so I don’t have to get it licensed or get a motorcycle license. I’ll need to pay a small insurance fee in case I run into something or I get smoked but hey it’s a small price to pay when I’m getting 100 miles per gallon on this thing. Maybe tomorrow when it’s nice I’ll post a video of my riding my scooter, HA HA.

Don’t forget Saturday Nov. 1st is just around the corner and I’m going to be giving away something or some things on this blog. So follow my RSS Feed and check out the contest.

    Awesome ride! What’s the top speed on a rig like that? I would bike back and forth to work (or get a scooter) if there wasn’t 2 miles of deathtrap highway between my house and my employer. For now I’ll probably stick with my Civic.

    Yeah dude that does look like fun to ride. How old do you have to be to ride one of those here in Nebraska? How fast does it go?

    @Brent – it’s street legal so 16yrs old.

    I have to wear a helmet and I bought the small 50cc scooter so I did not have to get a motorcycle license. It will go just above 30mph on a flat surface (so speeding in town) LoL
