So those that follow affiliate marketers on twitter or blogs may have already found out that CPA Empire will be switching to Affiliate.com. That’s a pretty sweet domain that good ol’ Scotty Richter has.

Another item coming from their own conference in Denver is something that I heard about a little while ago and that is they will be switching from DirectTrack to their own tracking system. That way they can really scrub what they want for themselves (j/k). This is a very good move on their part as plenty of affiliates don’t like DT and won’t join networks that have DT *coughIANcough* Kidding aside let’s all hope this tracking system is much faster than their DT now.

With that said, I still with my friend didn’t get married in Denver 2 weeks ago so I could justify driving out to Denver. With this stupid gas crap, driving out there again just doesn’t make cents.

In my previous post I mentioned that I was headed to Colorado for a little weekend. We went for a wedding. The wedding was good, we didn’t know anyone except the groom’s wedding party and so we left early. The nice part was we got to hang out with our friend the groom the day before so it was ok. Oh, btw I whooped up on him in golf giving up a stroke a hole and still beating him 4 and 3.

Friday I dropped by CPAEmpire and toured the offices with my Affiliate Manager Jason. As you can see in the picture that is Jason and I in front of the Media Breakaway sign in front of their building. As you can see I’m all dressed up in my plaid to take on my friend in golf later.

Their offices is very impressive. We got to peak into everyone’s place and even meet the 2nd man in charge. No, Scott Richter was not in at the time, I guess the boss can come in when he wants. I was hoping for a meet and picture opportunity though. His office was obviously the best one there. My wife came along and I think she finally got the hint that this Internet Marketing stuff is pretty big when one of the big wigs had his Lamborghini sitting out front.

It was a great experience to meet Jason and take a tour of the offices. I suggest if you’re near one of the networks you’re apart of that you drop by. I’m just a small fry but they treat you like any other internet marketer.

We’re headed to a wedding of a friend of mine that I met on SOCOM 2 back in 2004. It’s funny isn’t it? You play a video game with some one for 4 years and you’re invited to their wedding. Crazy technological world we live in now isn’t it.

Friday I’m going to kick his ass in golf and then Saturday is the wedding. If I get up early enough before our golf outing I’m going to try and visit CPAEmpire and my AM Jason. I’ve done about $2,500 dollars with CPAEmpire, my 2nd biggest network I use.
