Make Money Online: Roadmap of a dot com mogul
Nearly a month ago I was checking my iGoogle page and noticed Jon Volk was giving away a few of John Chow’s #1 best seller book (ok maybe not #1). Volk’s contest was simple, spam that blog post with comments and the 1st, 25th, 37th and 50th comment would win a signed copy of the book.

I was at work and didn’t think anything of it. I wasn’t going to sit there and watch the spam. When i got home from work I ran through blog posts again and checked out the contest. I literally clicked on the blog post and saw that if I commented I would win. Sure enough i commented right then and there and won a free copy. What crazy luck.

So as you can see from the photo’s Jon sent me the copy just the other day. I’ve got to say it’s a well written book. Here you can see Chow and Michael Kwan signatures.

With a forward from Joel Comm and 13 chapters of his own history and insight it was a very easy read even for a non-reader such as myself. I think my favorite chapter was John’s story of how he got started back in 1999. An interesting portion of his history talked about how he feels Google “saved” the dot com downfall of the early 2000′s. It was and excellent recap of what happened during that time for those that are unfamiliar with the short history of the Internet.

I probably would have purchased the book myself as i have been a fan of John Chow and was lucky enough to meet John during his time on the TAC show.

Like I said, the book was a good read and worth well worth it to those that are looking to get started in the make money online niche. I was able to pick out a few things that I will now implement in some of my websites that I own.

-Thank you Jonathan Volk
-Thank you John Chow

    Thanks,

It’s a good book and I’m not just saying that. It’s one of those perfect books to have in the Barns & Noble section where people are browsing.
