The Shoemoney Effect

If you haven’t checked out Shoemoney before you really need to go over there and read his blog. What’s great is has become “famous” mostly because of his blog but that is not why he has “made it” in the online business. You can read more once you head over there.

This post is about The Shoemoney Effect. Every Friday there is a post called “Free T-Shirt Friday” on his blog. It’s just as it sounds, you send in a t-shirt and he’ll take a picture of himself with it on. Since his readership has been well over 10,000 on his blog it might be one of the best free advertising options on the internet. Here is Shoemoney with my shit.

I’m not exactly sure on when the article was posted but I believe it was in the afternoon. I subscribe to Shoemoney’s feed and therefore I did not see it until the afternoon. So, what is the Shoemoney effect on Free T-Shirt Friday? Well I’m sure it’s different for everyone but here is a picture of my Google Analytics. Decide for yourself if you should start making T-Shirts for your website/business and send it to Shoemoney.

Congratulations Browie! That’s great. It’s definitely worth a try. I wonder how many shirts he gets…

    Thanks,

Well, here is a tip. I sent my shirt in the Middle of July. 4 months. Granted he may have skipped a Friday or two but still, that’s a long wait.

Congrats on your traffic spike. It may take 4 months for the shoe to get to your shirt, but he keeps his promise

Prior to my internet marketing fun I bought browie.com and put a forum on it. Then I wanted a blog and used .info and finally switched my blog to .com
