Weeds

Let’s just get it out right now, if you have not seen the show “Weeds” on showtime then you are missing out. Soon after my iPod Touch purchase I wanted to download a show or movie that I hadn’t seen yet to have on hand so I could watch anywhere I wanted on my iPod. I had heard this show “Weeds” was good right from the start.

The media was correct, this show is great. It is not like those other cable shows where things get to be a little much and start to seem unbelievable. Mary-Louise Parker does an amazing job as a recently widowed mother raising two boys in a rich suburb area. She is trying to support her family by selling marijuana to the locals.

The first season started in the fall of 2005. The 2006 golden globes saw Mary-Louise go up against FOUR desperate housewives for the Best Actress honor. She won and I would assume that sent Weeds on a rocket to more seasons.

The show gets you hooked. Every ending to the half hour comedy/drama has a small cliff hanger just drawing you in for more. These drew me in, because within a week I had finished off all 3 seasons and am now caught up with everyone else. The final season 3 episode left with a lot of questions and we now have to wait until August 2008 for the premier. HURRY UP AUGUST

Since I’m finished with this show, does anyone have other shows that you feel are worthy of a torrent download to watch the previous seasons?

dude! that show got me hooked! i’m on the 7 episode of the first season. I have to say its a good stoney tv series. I wondered if my parents were dealing when I was younger…always had bunch of different people show up at our house and just for a short amount of time! hahaha
